The content of the course prepares participants to the carefully selected, major issues from the "Candidate Body of Knowledge", the document created by the CFA Institute and a team of experienced CFA charterholders, which covers the topic areas that every candidate taking a CFA® exam should master.
The list of the topics covered at the 4CFA stationary course in comparison with the requirements of the CFA Institute for the "Level 1" exam is enclosed here.
We make our programs as practical as possible. And even more
Here is how you'll work:
After enrolling in the course we provide (about 1-2 weeks before each topic area) a list of REQUIRED study materials (from CFA® curriculum or other sources), which ought to be read before the training session
Each meeting begins with a short (60-120 minutes) theoretical introduction
The majority of the session time is then spent on solving practical tasks (altogether over 600). The instructor extends them with the so-called
"case studies" and makes the participants aware of the details and nuances. Each session ends with indicating "homework"
any problems may be addressed to the instructors or other participants in the closed internet forum (accessible in the web-area to which participants get access soon after course enrollment)
