Real World Economics Society is a part of global Rethinking Economics movement, which aims "to demystify and diversify economics in the public eye; to educate ourselves and other students in a more reflective economics; to inspire divergent economists to engage with one another in debate; and to promote a politics of responsibility within academic economics." I participated in an early stage of creation of society and participated in numerous events, ranging from "no-growth economics" to simple screenings of related movies. In June 2016 I was officially elected a committee member in academic year in 2016/2017, in which I hope to be more involved with organising events with other branches of sciences and studies - my main aim is to organise law-related events.
President, University of Bristol Polish Society 07/2015 - current
I was voted for Polish Society's president for academic year of 2015/2016. Over the course of the year, I have organised numerous social events on the behalf of the society. Additionally, I have tried to increase presence of Bristol in Poland by appearing at few events dedicated for Polish Students in the UK. Additionally, I have done long guided tours for Polish students interested in studying the UK and cooperated with companies, which help Polish high-school graduates to be admitted to British Universities. I have additionally introduced a purely external position of Chairman, which I later have undertaken, and I hope to attend as many events as possible and increase recognition of Bristol in Poland as much as possible.
