Are we all losers?

Hi guys, I was sitting on Tuesday some 5-7 meters away from Peter repeating that saying about the competition and the losers. As a person that runs it's own business already 7th year - it didn't seem neither new nor strange. I don't know how the others, sitting in NVIDIA auditorium or watching the video online, reacted to that.
But I came up with sort of unsaid thought that Peter didn't mentiod. Since losers = all of the companies that have less market share than say at least 15-20% (I really rounded it down) this could only mean that if you're doing buisness and you're not having a monopoly in any market (or at least substantial market share in a union of markets A U B U C) -> you're a damn loser.
What do you think about what Peter said in the lecture?
